6.) When will you show up to setup for my event?
We generally arrive 2 hours prior to the start of the event. When your guests arrive, we are completely set-up with background music playing. And by the way, we don't charge you for set-up or break-down time. We can coordinate the time your guests arrive to background music as they come in to the venue.
7.) Are you available and what type of deposit do you require?
Availability is first come, first served. The only thing we require is a security deposit of $100.00 to guarantee your booking date.
8.) How much experience do you have?
We have been Disc Jockey's since 1985 which is 29 years of experience. I was a musician in various bands before I started Nightwatch Productions and supported musicians that had music on the radio and toured in the state of Michigan. This includes wedding receptions, school dances, corporate events, class reunions, retirement parties, anniversaries, birthday parties, college parties, and any type of function that you can think of.
9.) Some additional things to think about
I do not believe your wedding day or function lives or dies by the amount of bodies on your floor so I am willing to play whatever you enjoy; whether it is popular to the masses or is on the charts does not concern me. I am there to help you create the mood that you desire on your wedding day or your particular function.
I have provided the Top 200 list of current songs to assist in your music selections; you can find this in my Music page. Many of my clients create their “do not play list” which can be a far more valuable than your “play” list.
My advice in terms of music selection is simple. Let’s play what you enjoy and what best represents you and the atmosphere you wish to create at your function. Let’s talk about your guests and do our best to give everyone a chance to dance or listen to something they enjoy.
Your input is very important in determining the success of the function. They are your family and guests and although I bring over 30 years of entertainment experience to the table of being able to read what people are responding to, it would be foolish of me not to listen to what you know about your friends and family or co-workers.
